The Game of the Wound

Tanya Krzywinska says of this work: “The Game of the Wound is a participatory illustration of Kafka’s ‘A Country Doctor’. Interactivity is predicated on agency – but here agency is thwarted, the game has a mind of its own, yet it also beckons towards visual poetry. Chains of associations, wormholes into which meaning falls, provide structural fundament, working with different visual vocabularies and sounds. Here Kafka is taken as surrealist-gothic-modernist truth-dreamer; aghast, yet wryly grinning at the cyclical collapse of human values.”
